AIE STUDIOS supports businesses largely based on the studio complex. These businesses are members of Film Plus, our co-working space. We also support business partners across Canberra. Since 2018, these entities have provided a range of production services to cater for many aspects of filming and together we have a genuine creative community atmosphere.

    Manages individual sound stages, coordinates load-in, load-out and other technical requirements.

    Facilities Manager

    Manages Buildings, HVAC, power, fire safety, security, maintenance.

    Logistics Coordinator

    Manages trucks, crew parking, deliveries, and unit base. Issues parking permits, security cards.

Sets Props Costume | AIE Studios

Sets, Props & Costume

AIE Studios partners with MMD Custom Design and Lead Production Designer Manuk Samarasinghe as its preferred provider of set construction, props, fabrication services and costume. Operating as an independent specialist company, MMD Custom Design manages all physical build, scenic construction, metal fabrication, and workshop services for productions utilising AIE Studios’ facilities. Working alongside the AIE Studios production team, MMD Custom Design delivers bespoke sets and physical art department solutions to professional industry standards.

3D Animation and Visual Effects

AIE Studios partners with Eye Candy and Managing Director Damian Stocks as its preferred provider of VFX, CGI, Animation and Motion Design. Operating as an independent specialist company, Eye Candy manages all workflow and asset management, create high-quality 3D Assets (props, environments, characters, vehicles, set extensions), build virtual environments optimised for LED volumes and real-time performance, deliver VFX shots, digital doubles, compositing and final shot integration. They collaborate closely with AIE Studios in-house Dreamgate Studios team to deliver services to production companies.

Post-Production & Delivery

AIE Studios partners with Silversun and Rohan Taylor as its preferred provider of post-production services, having worked with Silversun Pictures on a number of feature films such as The Furies, Sissy, and Riptide. Their post-production capabilities include editing, sound design, colour grading, visual effects and animation, supported by highly experienced editors, designers and colourists who refine footage into polished, engaging visual narratives.

/ Internship Coordinators

A network of experienced AIE film and screen trainers drawn from our second-year teaching team across all Australian campuses. Working closely with course leaders in Film, 3D Animation, and 3D VFX, these coordinators identify, prepare, and recommend high-performing AIE graduates for entry-level roles on AIE Studios productions and with partner production companies. Reporting to the Head of Industry Programs, they act as the primary bridge between classroom training and professional employment, matching graduate capability with real industry opportunities
